Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday Resort has plenty of hire gear to keep an active family happy; mountain bikes, kick bikes, surfboards, boogie boards and kayaks are all available. The bikes are ideal for cruising around Waihi Beach and its surrounds or simply for getting to the shops for an ice-cream.  

The waves at Waihi Beach are good all year round and hire options include both long and short surfboards, a range of boogie boards and wetsuits of all sizes for those who wish to brave the surf during colder months.

The resort has two single-seat kayaks for hire which are provided with lifejackets and paddles. For more experienced kayakers, the trip around to Orokawa Bay is recommended.
