Owners - Ian and Vicki
Owners Ian and Vicki get a thrill from the sense of community they have created. Many families return every summer and some have been coming year after year for generations. It is inevitable that children and adults alike will meet and make friends while staying at the resort.
Operations Manager - Angie
Angie has been in the Hospitality Industry since 2003 managing another camping ground within the Coromandal Penninsula area, the first year in the industry the camp won the AA Hospitality award. Angie's background is originally from the Diary Industry-Laboratory then moving into the building industry Managing a design and build company. Our customers are our business and we encourage you to make your memories here at our Resort so surprise yourself!
Reception Team Leader - Misha
Misha has moved to Waihi from Wellington and has a background in media and advertising. Misha is also responsible for the Resorts Sustainable Tourism and is the Reception Team Leader.
Reception - Sharon and Phil
Phil is new to the area moving to Waihi Beach from Sydney, Australia where he worked in the Insurance, finance and customer service industries.
Sharon is new to Waihi Beach and has moved here from New Plymouth. She has been working in the admin and reception sectors and is looking forward to exploring the area and meeting new people.
Grounds Team Leader - Lance
Lance has also come from within the Hospitality Industry managing a large camping ground, he brings a wide range of knowledge and skills from building/plumbing and drainlaying and anything mechanical. Lance takes great pride in the exterior of the park and our customers will certainly know that they are staying at a 5 star holiday resort.
Groundsmen - Phillip and Pai
Our Groundsmen live and work at Waihi Beach TOP 10 Holiday Resort. Phillip and Pai have been with us for 13 and 10 years respectively, and the resort certainly wouldn’t be the same without them.
Head Housekeeper - Diane
Diane has an extensive background in the Tourism Industry moving here from Taupo where she was a key member of a large housekeeping team. Her 2IC, Karen has been with us for 12 months and is a part of vibrant, dedicated team. You’ll see them busy around the resort cleaning our units, cabins and facilities. They are the magic fairies that help keep our place looking so spotless!
